Hausham, 8. July 2025 – After more than 127 years of successful company history, Schwarz Druck GmbH is positioning itself for the future with new management and at the same time strengthening its international focus as a provider of forgery-proof print and digital solutions for securing brands, products and identities: The long-established company was taken over on July 1st 2025 by Marco Castiglioni, who will act as the Managing Director.
Schwarz Druck GmbH, with its headquarters in Hausham, is one of the most renowned security printers on the global market. In the future, the portfolio is to be expanded to include digital solutions for urban infrastructures worldwide – from smart city technologies and global car park solutions to RFID vignettes for car manufacturers on all continents.
“I took over the company for several reasons. Firstly, because I am convinced of the long-term potential of this location. Secondly, because I firmly believe in the strength of this team. And thirdly, because we can further expand our global market presence with digital solutions,” explains Marco Castiglioni. “Our DRIVE27 strategy lays the foundation for even stronger international growth and setting digital standards in the security printing industry.”
Despite this global outlook, the site in the district of Miesbach remains the centerpiece of our production: this is where the core products for all markets are developed. In this area, the company is not only a secure employer, but also an important driver of innovation for the local economy.
A new look is planned for October 2025. Until then, the company will present itself with its familiar visual brand identity – but its content is already highly modern and internationally orientated.

Schwarz Druck GmbH was founded in 1898 and currently employs around 50 people. As a specialised provider in the field of security printing and product and brand protection, the company exports to over 30 countries worldwide.
The portfolio includes, among other things: ID cards, integrated cards, vouchers, cheques, security labels, quality and cachets, tax stamps, stamps, visa labels, passports, stamps, certificates, tickets and other specialised printed products. The range is increasingly being supplemented by digital solutions such as RFID-based applications, smart vignettes and components for networked mobility and smart city systems.
Schwarz Druck GmbH is certified according to Intergraf ISO 14298:2021 (‘Management of security printing processes’) and thus fulfils the highest requirements for security standards, processes and quality in production.
Its customers include companies from industry, public transport and national and international authorities.
About Marco Castiglioni, the new Managing Director:
Marco Castiglioni, who holds a degree in industrial engineering, has worked in the printing and paper industry for over 30 years and has extensive international experience, including management positions in South Tyrol, Saudi Arabia and Slovenia. Most recently, he held a management position in security printing. At Schwarz Druck, he will focus in particular on driving forward the strategic development and international orientation of the company.
